As per the press release, AJ will act as a writer and Executive Producer for the project, though there's currently no timescale on when it will actually air. It's not currently known whether or not her husband, CM Punk, will be involved either, though this will surely be clarified later down the line.

Released on April 4th, 2017, AJ's book "chronicles [her] unlikely rise to stardom after growing up in poverty and enduring years of abuse." The hardback became an immediate New York Times bestseller, and is currently set to come out as a paperback for the first time on April 3rd, 2018.

The show will be developed by EUE/Sokolow, who were most recently responsible National Geographic's 'Genius' series, which scored ten Emmy nominations. This bodes well for AJ's project, which Lee describes as "a story about the power of female strength and our incomparable ability to survive, persist and overcome."
