If you were a fan of American Horror Story's Coven-themed season, then this episode is the one you've been waiting for. Michael Langdon might be the central focus of Apocalypse, but this episode largely takes place from Cordelia's point of view. As a result, Boy Wonder is more akin to Coven than it is to Apocalypse, and the whole episode is practically a love letter to the beloved season.

Apocalypse's eerie score is practically non-existent in this instalment, instead being replaced by the haunting 'la la la' sounds associated with the witch-themed season. Moreover, several scenes take place at Miss Robichaux's Academy, and one would be forgiven for thinking they're watching an episode of Coven had they flicked on the TV during these particular scenes. What's more, there were a few more Coven-related surpises...
