1. It Lacks The Freshness Of The First Season

Season one was such a unique breath of fresh air that attempting to follow it up just a year later is a brave and potentially thankless task. Terrifically crafted though it is for the most part, there's no denying that the gonzo originality of that first season can't quite be matched here, and certainly not topped.

Stylistically and creatively, it feels like a more confident iteration of what came before, though at the same time it does also recycle some narrative elements and effectively operate within a wheelhouse some may find overly familiar.

It should be stressed that these are relatively minor qualms in the scope of the season, though, and if you loved season one, you should have a blast with this follow-up. Meanwhile, here's everything the new season gets right...
