Are The Russos Teasing A Community Reunion?

Community And A Movie
NBC

It's been four years since Dan Harmon's Community came to an end, and that's a crying shame. The series (barring Season 4's 'gas leak' year), was frequently hilarious, sharp, entertaining, and featured an impeccable cast comprised of Joel McHale, Jim Rash, Ken Jeong, Chevy Chase, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Dani Pudi and Donald Glover, the latter of whom has gone on to achieve meteoric success as both an artist and actor in the years since the show was cancelled in 2015.

At its peak, absolutely nothing could touch Community, but it wasn't just the show's actors who flourished elsewhere. Joe and Anthony Russo, better known to the moviegoing public as the duo behind Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, first found their footing on NBC's TV show when it premiered in 2009.

They directed dozens of episodes, including Season 2's A Fistful of Paintballs, while both went on to homage the series by featuring cameos from its leads in their Marvel films - Pudi, Rash, Jeong and Nicole Brown the four to appear so far.

In time for San Diego Comic Con 2019, the Russos have been teasing something periodically over on their Twitter. Many thought it has something to do with an Avengers reunion, but their latest Tweet included Glover and Pudi's famous Spanish rap, with the date and time for their panel thrown in for good measure.

Are the Russos teasing a Community revival? Fans might have their heart set on Marvel announcements, but as far as this Community fan is concerned, nothing could top a potential full-blown movie.
