Arrow Season 7: 10 Major Predictions

All hell is about to break loose.

Arrow Season 7 Predictions
The CW

It's hard to believe that Arrow has been on the air for six years. The hit CW series based on DC's Green Arrow has turned in six successful seasons while spawning its own shared universe of spin-offs, and it's not done yet.

In a matter of weeks, the show will return to TV screens for its seventh season. But after everything that Team Arrow has gone through in those six years of kicking ass and fighting crime, what could possibly be left for them?

Season 6 saw Oliver Queen investigated by the FBI, try to be a father, and lose control of Star City to a crime lord, all while trying not to let the foundations of Team Arrow break beyond repair. He ultimately did what he could to protect the city, surrendering himself to the FBI in exchange for their help while ensuring that his former teammates would be there to protect Star City in his absence..

With the city now lacking heroes, Oliver's identity outed and the man himself locked up in a prison with criminals that he helped put there, what's on the horizon for the Emerald Archer?

10. Deathstroke Will Return

Arrow Season 7 Predictions
The CW

It's been quite a while since Slade Wilson graced our screens with his presence, and given that he's finally a part of Arrowverse TV again, he is bound to show up sometime during Season 7.

Slade appeared in three episodes last season, during which Oliver helped him track down his long-lost son Joe. However, he was in for a shock when he discovered that his son was the leader of criminal organisation, the Jackals. The shocks kept coming as Joe actually revealed that he had a brother, Grant, and went on to suggest that he killed him.

Slade didn't believe Joe's confession and decided to set out on his own to track down both of his sons. That was during the first half of Season 6 and, unfortunately, we haven't heard anything since.

The reveal that Grant Wilson exists in this timeline was a major moment for the Arrowverse as the character appeared as Deathstroke Jr. in the alternate 2046 timeline on DC's Legends Of Tomorrow. Whether or not anything similar will happen in the main timeline is anyone's guess, but his existence is incredibly important, especially to Slade.

Nobody likes unanswered questions and we have yet to find out what happened to Grant (and if Slade managed to locate Joe again). So it would make total sense for Deathstroke to pop up again sometime during this season to give us all an update on what's happening with his sons. It's time, kid.
