Breaking Bad was unanimously praised by fans and critics alike for its take on the extent one man will go to in order to provide for his family upon hearing he has a death sentence looming over his head. The praise is mostly justified. But beneath the stunningly complex narrative there are scores of problems with this show. Breaking Bad vaulted Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul to the top of their respective field, and rightfully so, but the praise laden upon the show that brought them together is unjust; it doesn't deserve its 9.5 score on IMDB. Breaking Bad is good, but it isn't flawless. Yes, Breaking Bad is amazing, and yes Ozymandias is one of the best episodes of television EVER. But some aspects of the show could and should have been reworked. The audience are expected to extend the realms of plausibility in order to accept the extent of Walters descent into criminality which, whilst entirely possibly, isn't probably in the given timeframe. So whilst the majority of the story told is exceptional there are several threads which mean Breaking Bad isn't as amazing as the masses claim it to be.
