Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Trailer Reactions: 4 Ups & 1 Down

Hellish landscapes. Lonely mortuaries. A high school corridor. It doesn't matter which setting graces the screen in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina because all of them are shot in an equally unnerving way. The grim tone lends itself to these visuals nicely, ensuring that no matter how harmless any of these locations are, they chill us to the bone.

The shots throughout this trailer are nothing short of stunning - all of them focusing on the contrast of the bright colours against the dark background, giving every environment an undeniably eerie look. This is all then taken a step further when we see the particularly frightening sights, such as the shot of the moon, the blindingly bright closeup on the birthday candles, and that terrifying image of the horned creature sitting across the table from Sabrina.

This is where you can see the influence of the Riverdale producers. No matter where you stand when it comes to the teen thriller, it's undoubtedly one of the most aesthetically pleasing shows on television.

It's nice to see that Sabrina has adopted a similar approach as the town of Greendale (and its unearthly underbelly) is shot in such a way that it's impossible to do anything but marvel at it - and we haven't even seen it in 4K yet! If the trailer is anything to go by, we're going to be in for some majestic sights... and some horrifying ones too, of course.
