Crisis On Infinite Earths Finale Preview Teases Comic's Ending

As the crossover nears its end, are we going to see a repeat of the storyline from the comics?

The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover ended its first phase with last night’s episode of the Flash. As expected the episode ended on a cliff-hanger with the heroes having their backs against the wall. And like always, we were offered a sneak preview of parts 4 and 5 which will bring the massive event to its close about a month from now.

As usual, the following contains MAJOR SPOILERS for the most recent episode of the Arrowverse's Crisis crossover. If you're not up to date, look away now.

The end of Part 3 saw the Anti-Monitor finally succeed in his plan to wipe out all existence. After manipulating Harbinger (Audrey Marie Anderson) into becoming his vassal, the evil cosmic entity was able to infiltrate the Waverider and take out the heroes. While Pariah was able to transport the seven Paragons to the Vanishing Point, the Anti-Monitor soon proceeded to erase Earth-1 and those remaining on the ship from existence.

This wasn’t the final twist in the episode as at the Vanishing Point, Brandon Routh’s Superman is suddenly attacked by some unknown force. He then fades into nothingness and taking his place among the survivors is none other than Jon Cryer’s Lex Luthor. The latter having kept a page of the Book of Destiny and used it to save himself at Clark’s expense.
