Crisis On Infinite Earths was always going to be a major game-changer for the Arrowverse. An event that The CW's collective line-up of superheroes has been building towards for nearly a decade, fans were well aware of the fact that it would exhibit endgame-like qualities as it brought an end to one era and kick-started another.

With three installments behind us thus far (and two more to go), it's safe to say that the Crisis has well and truly begun. But, in all honesty, it has done so much more than that, as episodes of Supergirl, Batwoman and The Flash gave us a chance to see the Anti-Monitor and his universe-destroying wave of antimatter up close and personal.

With the holiday season upon us, the Arrowverse has essentially used the Crisis to create a single midseason finale if you will - one that is comprised of cliffhanger after cliffhanger to keep us on the edges of our seats as we await the final two-parter in January. But just what does it all mean?
