Daredevil TV Show: 10 Things It Can Finally Get Right

The calamity of Ben Affleck's Daredevil is about to be rectified.

Daredevil is an amazing comic book creation with a dismally terrible film. Thankfully Marvel have regained the rights to the character and will try to fix the film's damage with a thirteen episode Netflix series. They then plan to create similar Netflix shows dedicated to Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage before uniting the group in a Defenders miniseries. Marvel have high hopes for this character, saying that if the series is well received we could see these characters end up starring in feature length films. This is a promising event for Marvel, and it represents an opportunity for them to rectify the many mistakes made by the movie. Marvel clearly knows what they are doing now €“ they have crafted a financially successful and critically acclaimed shared universe and are dominating the comic book movie genre €“ so the chances of this show being phenomenal are pretty good. The series will star Charlie Cox as the titular hero, and Vincent D€™Onofrio as the villainous Kingpin. The small screen is working wonders for Marvel, allowing them to incorporate minor characters, like Absorbing Man and Deathlok, into the Cinematic Universe without risking putting them in an expensive feature film. Daredevil isn't exactly an unknown hero, but there is still stigma attached to the character because of the disastrous 2003 film. Marvel are going to try their hardest to purge the film from everyone's collective memory, so let's look at how they are going to try and repair the damage.
