DC's Legends Of Tomorrow: 10 Things We Learned From The First Look

8. Sara Lance Is Back

Legends of tomorrow
The CW

One character who is in need of resurrection is Canary 1.0 Sara Lance. Appearing regularly throughout the second season of Arrow, Sara came to an unceremonious end in the third season premiere. Although it took nearly half of a season for the culprit to be revealed, there was no doubt that Sara was totally 100% dead. The show filled her abdomen with arrows, knocked her off of a building, smacked her on a dumpster on the way down, landed her on her head in an alley, shoved her corpse in a refrigerator, and buried her in a pine box to facilitate Laurel’s ascent into becoming Canary 2.0. Sara (played by Caity Lotz) was DEAD. It was ugly and offensive and irreversible.

Or so it had seemed.

The handling of Sara’s death is still ugly and offensive, but it seems that the Lazarus Pit that brought Thea Queen back to perfect health will be restoring Sara Lance to the land of the living. There’s no saying who dunked her in the pool of resurrection juice or for how long she’d been left mouldering in her pine box, but her emergence from the Pit – complete with gorgeous eye makeup intact – to take her place as White Canary was one of the most exciting moments of the first look.

Welcome back, Sara.
