Doctor Who: 10 Big Revelations We Learned In Dark Water

This week we learned that death isn't the end, just the start of something terrible...

Dark Water edged Doctor Who series eight ever closer to the end, bringing to a head a whole host of on-going story lines, from the romance between Clara Oswald and Danny Pink to the identity of the mysterious Missy and the Promised Land. In terms of revelations, this episode had some of the highest yet while still leaving audiences befuddled as to how the Doctor, Clara and Danny were going to survive this mess and save the day. If indeed they all are; Danny's grim fate looks pretty set in stone at this moment in time. Bigger still, the internet is sure to explode over the drama surrounding Michelle Gomez€™s Missy. It is probably Steven Moffat€™s most controversial creative decision yet that will have ramifications for Doctor Who for many, many years to come. But as we discuss later it is ultimately a clever way of addressing an issue surrounding gender that the fans of the show have raged over in recent years. After all the shocks, chills and drama of the episode, we look at some of the big revelations we learned this week and ask what happens next now that the Cybermen have invaded London. In true Doctor Who finale tradition the world seems utterly doomed. So with a warning for some huge spoilers if you haven't watched Deep Water yet, Click NEXT for number ten...
