Doctor Who Series 8 Titles Revealed

The BBC lets rip with a stream of new Doctor Who information...

The BBC's drip-feed of new Doctor Who information continues today, with this week's Monday-brightening instalment being a full list of titles, writers, and directors for all twelve episodes of Series 8. The list itself is largely the same as a list of rumoured titles that circulated online several weeks ago, with the only differences being the titles of episodes 10 and 11, and very small difference in the title of Episode 3. Which begs the question of whether or not there might have been a few last minute title changes in response to that list. Particularly since Into The Forest Of The Night (Episode 10) is a pretty unwieldy title when compared to the rumoured title Child's Play. The list also reveals that we'll be seeing Danny Pink earlier than expected (Well, those of us who haven't watched Episode 2 yet) with his first appearance being in Episode 2 rather than Episode 4 as many expected. Another interesting note about this is that we have the first collaboration between two writers since 2009's The Waters Of Mars (co-written by Russell T. Davies and Phil Ford) with Steven Moffat having a co-writing credit on Episodes 2, 5, and 6. Whether or not Moffat having a writing credit on seven out twelve episodes this series will have a significant effect on Series 8 remains to be seen but for now, here is the full list. Let the rampant speculation of just what these titles mean commence...
