8. The Mysterious Woman In The Shop
The modern version of Clara got in touch with the 11th Doctor by randomly calling the number on the TARDIS exterior phone which almost no one has. She claimed that the woman in the shop gave it to her, something which the 12th Doctor has already queried. But theres something more, based on Deep Breath. Clara responds to a newspaper ad for The Impossible Girl to meet the Doctor at the Half-Face Mans restaurant. He turns up thinking that its her advert to him. Who is it whos sent the advertisement? As Twelve points out, its someone who clearly wants to keep them together. But who could it be? Its obviously someone who knew of the two of them before the Doctors most recent regeneration. Steven Moffat excels at this kind of non-linear fannying about, when it comes to narrative its his stock in trade. Whatever happens, the story of whos been pushing Clara towards the Doctor will be a big one come the end of this season.
