Doctor Who: 10 Dubious Morals That Series 8 Taught Us

Valuable life lessons... Or not!

Since its inception over fifty years ago, Doctor Who has had as part of its remit that it should occasionally teach us things. Ian was there to explain the science. Barbara was there to explain the history. Susan was there to... Well, whatever it was that Susan did. The point remains that at least part of the programme was originally intended to teach us things each week. While Ian, Barbara and historical and scientific accuracy are all now a thing of the distant past, the show still does manage to impart some valuable life lessons along the way. Of course, times change. While the classic series imparted such important concepts as judging other civilizations by their own standards, the importance of optimism and the best way to brain a caveman with a rock, the new series has an entirely different - more updated - set of lessons for us to learn. So, join us for a look at Series 8 (or Season 8 if you're an American) from the dinosaur-laden streets of Victorian London to the all-singing, all-dancing Cybermen afterlife party and see what valuable lessons fans can take away from them. Disclaimer: Any legal repercussions that may stem from following any of the following advice is your own lookout. No one ever said it was good advice. Oh, and spoilers may follow if you haven't seen Series 8 yet (where have you been!?) Onwards!
