Doctor Who: 10 (More) Actors Who Could Replace Jenna Coleman

Here come the boys... again.

This article is a follow up to 10 Actresses Who Could Replace Jenna Coleman, which can be found here. Whether her loyal devotees have accepted it or not, Jenna Coleman is going to have to leave sometime - possibly even at Christmas as some rumours have suggested. However, it doesn€™t actually have to be a woman who replaces her. Several guys have been part of the TARDIS team in the past, from fan favourites such as Rory and Ian to less loved characters like Adric, the latter of which generally tends to get a bad rap. There has also been more clarity on the role that the companion will follow in Series 9. Steven Moffat has suggested that whoever the companion is, their relationship with the Twelfth Doctor will be €œdangerous€. This helps when picking potential companions because it's a suggestion of the direction that the writers are looking to go in and fans can speculate about people who will be able to pull this off. As before, this article will focus on why the actors on the list should be the new companion and reasons why they maybe shouldn€™t. The latter won€™t focus on general fan worries about a sole male companion travelling with the Doctor, such as it becoming too much of a €˜buddy€™ show, or the lack of good female characters, as these could apply to every possible actor that could be included on this list. With that out the way, it's time to begin. Let's see which actors could be joining the Doctor on his travels...
