Doctor Who: 10 Of Rory's Roriest Moments

Tell me about Rory, huh?

Ah Roranicus! What a trooper. Not only did he put up with the, at times, high maintenance Amelia Pond, but he also suffered through her somewhat flirtatious travels with the Doctor. His devotion, loyalty and (eventual) bad-assery has made Rory "the Roman" Pond (née Williams) one of NuWho's most beloved and enduring companions. Arthur Darvill, the man behind the nose, turns 33 a little later this month, and what better way to celebrate than by taking a look back at Rory's signature moments? They may not be his 'best' or 'funniest', but they're the times when Rory really showed his true colours and made for some truly entertaining telly in the process. From the very first episode of Series 5, Rory was there to brighten fans' lives with a little reminder of how endearing a boyfriend character can be. Constantly befuddled and often overwhelmed, Rory proves himself, in spite of it all, to be a true force to be reckoned with and can even go so far as to face off against the Doctor himself. His determination, undying love and honest intentions truly set Rory apart from the crowd and makes him one of the most affable and charming characters to have ever travelled aboard the TARDIS. Not only this, but Rory is definitely man enough to win the heart of Amy Pond, and that's no mean feat! Click forward to see if your favourite Roryism (YES, IT'S A WORD!) made the list...
