Doctor Who: 10 Things We Want in an Anniversary Special

10. All Living Doctors

Yes, I have a collection of Doctor Who action figures. Don't judge me! THE WISH This is pretty much a no-brainer. Of the eleven actors (not counting Richard Hurndall), to canonically play the Doctor, all but three are still living and doing at least some level of professional acting. For the 10th and 20th anniversaries we had special multi-Doctor stories (and for the 30th, but no one likes to talk about that one), and so doing a story that brings back all living Doctors is not at all unprecedented and, really, seems like something the series will probably do. ODDS OF THIS HAPPENING Pretty close to 90%, I€™d imagine, at least in some form or another. Of the living Doctor actors, only one, Christopher Eccleston, seems really committed to not returning to the series in any form, though I€™m sure if a truck full of money pulled up to his front door, he might rethink that. I€™m pretty sure this is what we€™re actually going to get for the 50th anniversary, and provided it€™s better-written than, say, €œThe Five Doctors€, which was entertaining as hell but had a mess of a story, we could end up with something really special.
