Doctor Who: 4 Terrible Things That Should Never Have Contained Daleks

3. Pornography

Dr Loo Even with Rule 34 of the internet firmly in place, it€™s hard to believe that this has happened three times. Is there some kind of creepy underground market for Dalek porn? Though I suppose the indicator lights could be appealing to the people that are sexually attracted to cars. And no, this isn€™t come kind of scary and convoluted joke. There is pornography featuring Daleks. The first is the now legendary picture of Katy Manning (Who played the Third Doctor€™s assistant Jo Grant) cosying up with a Dalek Supreme prop while wearing nothing but a pair of boots taken in 1979 for Australian glamour magazine Girl Illustrated. The next attempt to sexualise the Daleks came in 2005 with a three hour porn film called Dr Loo And The Filthy Phaleks that featured a female Doctor, a Portaloo Tardis, and creatures that, strictly speaking, weren€™t Daleks but for all intents and purposes were. Physically, the props weren€™t Daleks because they were literally just two bins stacked on top of each other with a sink plunger, an egg whisk, and a dildo glued on. That and the name change is probably why this piece of refuse never faced legal action. The one attempt to mix sex and Daleks that did meet legal action was Abducted By The Daleks, a 2005 pornographic Dalek film that made the mistake of not only using actual Dalek props but using the word €œDalek€ on the DVD cover. After the BBC threatened the film€™s makers with lawsuits, it was given a limited re-release with a redesigned cover that changed the creatures€™ names to €œDaloids€. Though they couldn€™t be bothered to change the disc. I didn€™t see any Dalek episodes of Doctor Who until I was a teenager so this hasn€™t ruined my childhood but it€™s still incredibly grim and depressing in its own right. Please Davros, make it stop.
