Doctor Who: 5 Places The Doctor Should Go Next (On Earth)

There's a whole world out there.

Doctor Who seems to be getting dry lately in terms of where they go on Earth. It's either Britain or in some cases, the United States. The Doctor can go anywhere in time and space. Why Great Britain? The Big Bang Theory pointed out that the Doctor has a thing for modern day Britain, so it's not like the joke hasn't been made. But where else could the Doctor go? It's true that nothing like the Aztecs episode starring William Hartnell has really been done since. The Earth is full of wonders and there are plenty of places that are pure Doctor Who gold that haven't been visited by a whole episode yet. More places have been mentioned than psychically visited in NuWho. The Ninth Doctor, for example, mentioned that the hordes of Genghis Khan couldn't get through the door to the TARDIS - so why haven't fans ever seen them yet? Viewers have seen historical characters but where has there been an actual historical or different location featured in a Doctor Who episode? Wasn't it originally meant to be an educational show? There is so much that could be done that hasn't even been touched yet and here are just five places - out of thousands - that the Doctor should visit. Some of them have been mentioned or featured in stories but have never had their own episode. Get your passports at the ready!
