Doctor Who: 8 Jon Pertwee Serials You Need To Revisit In January

Daleks and dinosaurs galore.

While the late Jon Pertwee may not be celebrating a birthday this month like his successor is, there€™s still a reason to celebrate. It was 45 years ago this month that Pertwee first appeared on our screens and he wasted no time in making the coveted role his own. On top of that, some of Pertwee€™s best stories (and at least one that wasn€™t) also aired during this month, so what better time to present a chronological run-down of all the Pertwee stories worth reviewing this month? This list differs slightly in that it€™s not meant to be a ranking - number one will not be the best story but instead the most recent one. It also covers only those stories that began their run in January, not the ones that aired mostly in January (which, unfortunately, means that The Three Doctors will not be appearing here, as much as it would've been welcome). It's also worth pointing out that, while this list will try its best to look at the things worth commemorating in each of the stories listed here, there may be times you'll need to€ reach slightly. While there€™s always something good about these stories, they€™re not always good, in other words. Still, a bad episode of Doctor Who is statistically better than everything else available on the televisual market so it's really not anything to write home about. So, enough talking! Get ready to brighten up your January by revisiting eight Third Doctor serials that deserve a little bit of lovin' this month. Oh, and don't forget to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow...
