Each Brooklyn Nine-Nine Lead Ranked From Worst To Best

This could be very hard... title of your sex tape!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
NBC

Brooklyn Nine-Nine has an undeniably impressive cast. As a sitcom, it has attained great success, and that seems to come down to the fact that the actors in the show all love being a part of it. Each character works perfectly for their role, and fits the TV sitcom format flawlessly. There genuinely are no weak links amongst the cast, and not every show has the privilege of saying that.

With that being said, it is still an exciting feat to decide which of the characters are best, in regards to their humour, performance, position in the show and general reception from fans. Whilst it's not an easy task, it is an excellent opportunity to delve into the Nine-Nine and figure out what makes its ensemble so unique.

The show has been running for seven seasons now and has been renewed by NBC for an eighth. Meaning that we will have plenty more opportunity to enjoy these characters. It's great to think where they can go from this point and now seems like the perfect time to retrospectively have a more in-depth look at the cast of the ninety-ninth precinct.

8. Hitchcock and Scully

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Fox

Being placed together in this list seems fitting for Hitchcock and Scully. As they are a double act without question. They can operate quite well individually, but the humour they possess is always at its peak when they are working off of the other.

However, they rank at the bottom of the list because compared to the rest of the characters, they lack nuance and complexity. Although they are funny parts who have some great moments in the show, they act purely as a punchline to a joke, or someone to laugh at that has very little agency in episode narrative.

There have been times where they are more relevant to the structure of the show, but overall it's clear what their position is. Many would even debate as to whether they should even be included in the lead category. Whilst being fun and charming in a unique way, Hitchcock and Scully are not developed enough to overtake any other members of the Nine-Nine.
