Game Of Thrones: 10 Questions We're Asking After 'The Gift'

A funeral, a reunion, and yet another huge twist. The best episode of the season so far.

The end of Season 5 is rapidly coming into sight, as Game of Thrones entered the home-straight with Episode 7 'The Gift' providing some huge events that have very nicely set up the remaining installments. Fans have been calling for some game-changing moments, and this week provided with two of the best scenes of Season 5, with Daenerys meeting Tyrion for the first time, while Cersei's scheming backfires and lands her in a cell. King's Landing has been in need of a shake-up with Joffrey gone, though the fanatical Sparrows have plunged the city into chaos following their emergence, with the Queen, the Queen's brother, and now the King's mother all rotting in the dungeons, while the boy King Tommen will now be tasked with the ruling of the Seven Kingdoms without the two major women in his life tearing him in two directions. At the Wall, Jon sets off to track the wildlings, while Maester Aemon says his sad farewell to the show, before Sam takes an almighty beating before finally bursting through the friendzone with Gilly... Sansa is yet again shown something horrific, the sight of the old lady that helped her after she was flayed by Ramsay, while Stannis makes slow progress on his march to Winterfell, with tensions rising between himself and Melisandre. Jaime is reunited with an irritated Myrcella who won't be taken away easily, while Bronn is seduced by a Sand Snake and learns he could be dying from one of their poison-tipped blades. Finally, Jorah gets all psyched up at seeing Daenerys again and destroys the field at the fighting pit, before revealing his identity - and dwarf-sized Lannister gift - to her. There's plenty to talk about, so here goes...
