Game Of Thrones: 3 Reasons Why Season 4 Might Be The Best Yet (And 3 Reasons Why It Might Falter)

Gotlogo As we progress through October, it is now less than six months until HBO's Game of Thrones will hit our television screens once again. Based on George R.R. Martin's masterpiece literary series A Song Of Ice And Fire, the show has become a worldwide phenomenon, attracting viewers in droves with its complex and morally grey interweaving storylines. Season three finished its run in early June, ending with the Red Wedding and Daenerys Targaryen's conquest of the city of Yunkai, whilst season four will pick things up where things left off. Based on the second half of A Storm Of Swords, the third book in the literary series, it will presumably also incorporate a few elements of A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons to set up the series' all but certain fifth and sixth seasons. Given the source material, season four may well end up being the best set of episodes that the show's creators have put out thus far. Here are three reasons why this may be the case, as well as three reasons why it may struggle under the burden of expectation. Note that whilst this article is essentially spoiler free, it does offer hints towards a handful of upcoming developments without going into too much detail or naming any of the characters involved. You have been warned.
