Game Of Thrones: 7 Best Moments From The Mountain And The Viper

After forcing fans to endure Game of Thrones withdrawal for two weeks, the epic fantasy show has returned with an episode that further proves yet again its power to destroy the hopes and dreams of its audience. Watching this series grow into the monster hit it has become has been a real joy. Based on The Song of Ice and Fire novels by George R.R. Martin, what began as a modest success in its premiere season has now become event television. It has captured the imagination of millions of viewers with its believable world, compelling characters and twisting narrative. Needless to say, enthusiasm for Game of Thrones has reached a fever pitch. It's sad to say that there are now only two episodes left this season, which means it won't be too long before we have to wait another year for our Game of Thrones fix. Enjoy these while you can, and there was indeed much to enjoy this week in an episode that might well end up being one of the best of the series. The Wildlings made one last move before their attack on the Wall, the Bolton's secured the North, Sansa grew up, Daenerys rid herself of her oldest friend, and Tyrion's fate was sealed through trial by combat. Blood and tears were shed in equal measure, resulting in an episode that is both thrilling and tragic. Thrilling and tragic. Those two words best describe what is transpiring in these final episodes of the season. Given that we are now deep into the final stretch of material from the third book A Storm of Swords, don't expect these feelings to let up any time soon. This is Game of Thrones we're talking about here; you have to mentally prepare yourself. There is so much to talk about, so let€™s dive deep and analyze some of the best moments from the eighth episode of season 4, The Mountain and the Viper. There are obviously spoilers ahead, so don't read any further before viewing the episode.
