According to the show's creators, Game Of Thrones will be airing slightly later in 2017 than usual, in order to better capture the feeling that winter has finally come. This is important because it means that season seven is still in the process of filming right now at the close of 2016, so there are a bunch of substantial rumours emerging from around the various sets.

Each of rumours on this list, then, are at least in someway corroborated by what's been spotted occurring on set, meaning the chances of them being valid are much, much higher than usual.

While it's impossible to know with one-hundred percent certainty what's coming, a lot of these rumours make sense given everything that has come before, and where many people believe the story to be heading.

With all that said, then, here are eight huge rumours about season seven.

At the close of season six, Daenerys is finally headed towards Westeros, and she's got a bloody great fleet by her side. Fear not, however, for viewers won't need to sit through a couple episodes of travel filler before she finally arrives.

In fact, it's rumoured that Dany and her fleet will arrive at Dragonstone - the castle at the entrance to Blackwater Bay - in the very first episode. There she'll begin (with Tyrion by her side, of course) to plan her political assault on Westeros.

As for the first step in that plan...
