Game Of Thrones: 9 Awful Moments That Were Way Worse In The Books

Thought they couldn't get any worse? Never have you been so wrong.

Spoilers ahoy! Spoilers ahoy! Proceed with caution. You know a book is brilliantly written when it takes you so far out of your own world and comfort zone that it affects you on a deep emotional level. Well, to say that George R.R. Martin has done this with his readers is a gross understatement. A Song Of Ice And Fire is nothing short of a masterpiece, from beginning to well, middle - since he still has two more books to write in the series, and who knows when he will finish those! The HBO series, Game Of Thrones, is no exception either. The grizzly deaths, the endless amount of boob screen-time and the politics that surround Westeros make it one of the most watched shows on television, but would you believe that the books are actually a lot worse? And I mean, A LOT. The violence is way more gruesome, the rape scenes are pretty graphic and the characters are a lot younger than they're portrayed on screen. Let's take a look at some of the moments that were way worse in the books.
