Can you remember all the details of the fifth season of Game of Thrones?
The fifth season of Game of Thrones was not as strong as the previous four. For reasons that aren’t entirely clear, the producers decided to adapt A Feast For Crows and A Dance of Dragons in just one season. As a result, Season 5 left out much of George R. R. Martin’s terrific work in order to squeeze the story into ten episodes.
Nevertheless, Season 5 still had its highlights. Daenerys’ time in Meereen was particularly good. The Sons of the Harpy were a fearsome group of antagonists whose acts of butchery were thrilling and sickening in equal measure.
Jon’s experience as Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch was also great television. The sequence at Hardhome was one of the best moments of the whole show, as it managed to be both epic in scale and frighteningly intense.
Consequently, though it was slightly disappointing, there were still plenty of outstanding moments in the fifth season.
