Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Home'

What is dead may never die.

Well, it finally happened.

After months of waiting, with endless speculation and theorising, Walda Bolton gave birth to a baby boy.

Oh, and Jon Snow was brought back from the dead.

The return of Jon Snow wasn't a surprise, but it's still a momentous occasion for the show, and capped off what was, on the whole, a great episode.

Much like Season 6 opener The Red Woman, Home was packed full of characters and plots, reintroducing some we hadn't seen in years and killing others off entirely, yet it didn't feel rushed or overstuffed. Tyrion made some new friends, Ramsay once again showed his brutality, we made a return to Pyke, and we got to witness Hodor say something that isn't 'Hodor' (an event that you *could* argue is bigger than Jon's return).

Once again, this early episode is still in the process of setting all of its pieces on the board, getting characters to the places it needs them to be for the meatier stuff to really begin. Home manages to balance this deftly though, by still including some major events that are going to have repercussions throughout at least Season 6, not least of which is, of course, Jon coming back.

That was the moment, but there's plenty to talk about besides, and this is what was great (and also not so good) from Home.
