Game Of Thrones: Season 6 - 6 Clues From "The Door" Trailer

We are now fully into the Expositional Window of season 6 of Game of Thrones: we're getting a lot of story detail and character detail, slightly to the detriment of the pace, but in contrast to other seasons, we're still getting at least one pretty major death or revelation each episode.

Seeing Ramsay cement his evil and then send Jon Snow the most appalling (and brilliant) letter was a highlight last time out, and so was the flirtation between Tormund and Brienne (one more than the other obviously), and there are increasingly brilliant opportunities opening up for the rest of the season.

Clearly, Snow's reaction to Bolton's letter will be a big part of the episode, and there are lots of other things to look forward to, including new characters, reunions and some actual narrative progression in Meereen. Here's the trailer for the next episode, The Door.

So what can we work out from the trailer?

6. Littlefinger Is For It

So Littlefinger will return to Winterfell to be met by an understandably upset Sansa and a furious looking Brienne, who is taking to her role as Sansa's body-guard with gusto. (Hopefully she won't come to blows with Ser Davos before we get to see more of her - and particularly the potentially blossoming romance between her and Tormund).

If he answers anything but yes to her demand to know whether he was aware of Ramsay's evil, there surely can't be anyone at all who will actually believe him. Littlefinger may be the master of pouring honey into people's ears to get what he wants, but there can be few who aren't aware of his intellect or his power to know things.

Surely he hasn't protected his status better than Varys?
