You don't need to be a maester of Oldtown to decipher that the Game Of Thrones Season 6 finale is going to be off-the-scale.

Episode 9 was truly one of the show's finest hours, with a stunning battle that could rank among the greatest fans have ever seen on TV, not just within the realm of HBO's fantasy epic.

Fans are sitting on the edge of a rollercoaster that has the potential to blow the entire concept of the show wide open, with characters set to be catapulted around the world or in many cases, disposed of.

With an extended run-time, there's a hell of a lot the episode will be covering, from Bran Beyond-the-Wall to Daenerys in Slaver's Bay, via Winterfell, the Riverlands, King's Landing, and more.

Who will live? Who will die? Who will win? Who will lose? The game of thrones is about to fly into meltdown, but what will happen in the Season 6 finale?

10. Jon And Sansa Assert Control

The next time we see Winterfell, Sansa and Jon could be attending a funeral or memorial for young Rickon (HE WHO DID NOT ZIG-ZAG) Stark and that’s when their job begins. They must assert control within the castle and make sure the North truly does remember.

It looks set to be a far less frenetic episode for Jon & Co. but an incredibly important one which could get their reign off to the best or worst possible start.

They must negotiate with Petyr Baelish, with his role still undetermined in the new system, though it’s safe to assume Jon and Sansa will be in control of the North by the end, rather than another ‘foreigner’ heading up the new era.
