We're now getting perilously close to the end of the harrowing wait that has yawned terribly all the way back to the end of season 6 of Game Of Thrones, and you can almost taste the excitement. It's a joy that is tainted somewhat by the haunting inevitability of the ocean of blood and emotional devastation that will wash over Westeros this season as we hurtle towards the Great War to end all wars, but it's intoxicating all the same.
