Game Of Thrones Season 7: 9 Big Questions After 'Beyond The Wall'
Red or blue?
Putting some of the plot holes and leaps of logic to one side (even though they've been garnering much more criticism than usual), Beyond The Wall was a mostly excellent instalment of Game of Thrones.
It did have its issues, some more forgivable than others, but it also delivered the great character moments, dazzling spectacle, and big shocks we've come to expect from the penultimate episode of any given season. On top of that, it laid the groundwork not just for an epic season finale, but also Season 8 and the Great War to come.
Daenerys has lost a dragon and is now committed to the real fight, the Night King has gained a dragon and looks unbeatable, the Magnificent Seven successfully captured a wight and can now attempt to convince Cersei of the real threat, and Tormund wants Brienne to have his babies...
Throw in the deaths of Thoros and Benjen, Jon bending the knee (albeit not literally), and a lot of tension at Winterfell, and it leaves us with lots to unpack and ponder over ahead of next week's Season 7 finale.
