26. Tyrion Lannister

Where He'll Be

Heading to King's Landing and into the firing line at the Dragonpit. Tyrion probably has the most reason to be scared for his life in the season finale as he's coming face to face with the sister who wants to pluck his head from his body quite openly. She might know he didn't kill Joffrey, but there's very little chance she even cares.

Still, he's got some plot armour, so he's probably quite safe...

Verdict: Lives

He's too valuable a player to be killed off, even if he's not necessarily particularly valuable in the final conflict with the Night King and it's too much to imagine that one of the show's most beloved underdogs would be slain.

Tyrion is also George RR Martin's favourite character, so him being killed off would be a hell of a twist to the season. Then again, that makes it sound even more likely...

25. Danaerys Targaryen

Where She'll Be

At the Dragonpit attempting to convince Cersei of the pressing need to stop squabbling about the Throne and look North to the White Walkers. She's in danger, because Cersei will have set a trap, but by the look of the trailers, Dany may not even arrive at the pit at the same time as Jon and his fellows, so she might be more protected from the Queen's dastardly plan.

Verdict: Lives

Dany has to ride Drogon in battle against the Night King and his new dragon, so there's no way she's dying yet. Expect whatever Cersei's trap is to fail.
