Game Of Thrones Season 7: Ranking The Probability Of 13 Major Character Deaths In 'Beyond The Wall'

Death is the enemy...

Game of Thrones Beyond The Wall Seven
HBO
"Death is the enemy. The first enemy, and the last. And we still need to fight him."

That fight will take place in Season 7 Episode 6, Beyond The Wall, and it's going to see death coming to a few of our heroes. Seven men have gone beyond the Wall to capture a wight, and it seems impossible that all of them will come back alive.

Season 7 has, thus far, been fairly light on major character deaths, with the biggest being the show killing off the Sand Snakes, while Randyll and Dickon Tarly perished in Eastwatch. But all that should be about to change.

Consider who is on this suicidal ranging mission: Jon Snow, Gendry, Sandor Clegane, Tormund Giantsbane, Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr, and Jorah Mormont. They're almost all fan-favourites, with Thoros probably the least of them in that regard - and even he is still fairly popular.

For this mission to have stakes, and further establish the threat of the White Walkers as the Great War looms, death feels like a necessity. The question isn't if someone will die, but how many people, and just who will they be?

Note: This is not based on any spoilers from the leaked episode, which I have thankfully managed to avoid thus far (however it does draw on some rumours from before Season 7 started). If you have seen it (or know what happens), please do wait until the episode's aired before letting others know what actually happens.
