Game Of Thrones Season 8: 20 New Character Images Revealed

The end of Game of Thrones is almost upon us. In roughly six weeks, the show will return to HBO for its eighth and final season. Just a few weeks after that, it'll be gone forever.

Fans are clamouring for even the smallest glimpse of the new season. All we've seen from Season 8 is Daenerys and Jon arriving at Winterfell, where they're greeted by Sansa, and Arya seeing a dragon. There've also been some photos, of people in dark rooms, mostly looking a bit miserable. There have been a couple of longer, more suggestive teasers, but neither contained any new footage.

What does HBO say to the God of Trailers? 'Not today'. They have, however, revealed a new batch of character photos to further tease the upcoming season, with a bunch of characters taking their place on the Iron Throne (their rightful place, for some). In keeping with the rest of the marketing so far, the new images aren't giving anything away. But at a point when even the smallest crumb will feed a hungry belly, we'll take what we can get.
