Game Of Thrones Season 8: Every Character Still Alive For The Finale (And What They'll Do)

Predicting what every living character will do in the last ever episode...

Game Of Thrones Characters
HBO

Despite how much of a cull of characters we've seen in the final season of Game Of Thrones, there are still a fair few recognisable names left. In the end, there will still be some of those names to be proclaimed the "winners" of the Great Game, too, but there's the big hurdle of the finale yet to come.

With the big question of what happens in the aftermath of the Massacre at King's Landing, dominating the conversation right now, lots of those surviving characters will have roles to play. We'll potentially see new leaders, more deaths and full-stops (whether satisfying or not) on lots of the loose ends currently still hanging open. So at this point, it's important to work out exactly who is alive, who we'll see again and what they're going to be doing in the finale.

Hold tight for some seriously big, potentially game-changing predictions for every character still alive in the Seven Kingdoms, starting with the real loose ends...

i. The Forgotten Characters

Given that they all seem to be loose ends that the show has no intention of tying up, they're likely to all stay alive, which is something at least. Unless they're already dead, like the first one might be...

25. Edmure Tully

Edmure Tully Game Of Thrones

Last Seen: Imprisoned at the Twins in Season 6, where Arya killed all of the Freys and yet still apparently neglected to free her uncle.

Chances Of A Sighting: Bar some sort of celebratory coronation he appears at to celebrate his family winning the throne, it's unlikely. He may even already be dead.

24. Daario Naharis

Daario Naharis Game Of Thrones
HBO

Last Seen: Keeping the peace in Meereen until the people choose their own leaders, as instructed by Dany in the finale of season 6.

Chances Of A Sighting: Very very slim. How would he even get to Westeros, for a start?
