Game Of Thrones: 10 Things We Learned From "Breaker Of Chains"

Or, how Jaime Lannister lost the audience's sympathy again.

We€™re only three weeks into the fourth season of Game of Thrones, and we€™ve already had a game changer in last week€™s episode €œThe Lion and the Rose.€ If you missed it, and the only way that would have happened is if you were living under a rock, Joffrey was poisoned at his own wedding. With the king dead, Game of Thrones experienced yet another shift in the status quo. Not only will the kingdom of Westeros fall under new leadership, but there€™s still the mystery of who was behind Joffrey€™s murder. €œBreaker of Chains€ pushed the story further along this week, as well as followed up on characters we missed last episode. The men of the Night€™s Watch are getting ready for the wildling attack, Daenerys continues her journey of emancipation, and Arya and The Hound trudge further towards The Vale. This week was eventful for other characters around Westeros, including Samwell, Davos and Oberyn. However, the most startling moment came from Jaime, whose horrific act has prompted much talk and debate across the Internet. As usual, no book spoilers, although one section will compare the differences between the book and TV portrayals of this week€™s shocking scene. So sit back and take a look at the 10 things we learned in €œBreaker of Chains.€
