Game Of Thrones Season 4: 20 Most Eye-Catching Moments So Far

It€™s safe to say that Game of Thrones has become a widespread pop culture phenomenon. Not only is it one of the best shows on television at the moment, but it€™s also insanely popular with a wide range of people. Whether you crave violence, mystery, sex, drama, or just an all around engaging story, Game of Thrones has got you covered. Its fans are dedicated and active in generating buzz and discussion, and with each season topping the next, the audience only continues to grow. As a result, the hype for the upcoming fourth season is peaking earlier than previous seasons, and nowhere is this more obvious than with the reaction to all the footage released so far. So far there have been two trailers and a behind the scenes special released, and they are packed with so much tantalizing imagery that fans are still obsessing over them. Let€™s indulge in some obsessing ourselves, shall we? Here are some of the most eye catching moments of season 4 so far.

20. White Walker Offering

In season 2 we discovered that the wildling Craster had been sacrificing his newborn sons to the White Walkers for reasons we can only speculate. He was murdered during the Night€™s Watch mutiny, leaving the remaining mutineers to take advantage of his land, food, and daughter wives. In the first trailer we see Rast, the murderer of Lord Commander Mormont, setting a newborn in the snow, presumably for the White Walkers, just as Craster did. Will we finally see what terrible fate awaits them? What about the mutineers themselves? Even book readers don€™t know for sure where this plotline is going.

19. A Feast For Crows

Maybe not the most jaw-dropping moment from the trailer, but it is certainly intriguing. We see an unidentified man riding a horse across a war ravaged field littered with corpses. Perhaps the most important detail is the white banner the person is displaying, which is most typically associated with negotiation or surrender. Where exactly this takes place and who is involved is still a mystery, but look closely and you just might be able to figure it out.

18. Ramsay Slapped

Ramsay Snow, the bastard of Roose Bolton, is one of the most vile and despicable characters of the series. He treats people like hunks of meat to rip apart at his pleasure, especially women. So it is very surprising to see him in bed with a woman who looks to be there willingly. In fact, she looks a little demented herself, what with the slapping and gleeful look on her face. This woman is actually Myranda, one of the girls that seduced Theon before he was castrated. Whatever kind of relationship she has with Ramsay will no doubt be screwed up, but if show Ramsay is anything like his book counterpart, Myranda€™s fate can€™t be good in the end.

17. Slave Revolt

As Daenerys continues to free slaves, she simultaneously continues to amass a greater army. Here it looks like a large group of freed slaves are getting their revenge on their masters. If you look behind the man about to be full of holes, you can see €œKILL THE MASTERS€ written in blood. While what Dany is doing is most certainly a morally good thing, just know that disturbing the economic structure of a slave city in such a sudden and violent way will force her to consider the consequences of her actions in a way she isn€™t quite ready for.
