Gotham: 10 Villains To Expect In Season 2

10. Mad Hatter

In fact, this one's more of a guarantee than an expectation. Producer John Stephens confirmed at this week's WonderCon in Anaheim that Gotham's second season would introduce two more major villains from Batman's rogues gallery to its roster. The first is the Mad Hatter, an alter ego that's been used by a handful of different Dark Knight antagonists over the years. But the one they're most likely to be bringing to Gotham is Jervis Tetch, a neuroscientist obsessed with Alice In Wonderland and Through The Looking Class. In one comic an Arkham Asylum doctor describes him as €œobsessive-compulsive, and highly delusional. He's got an immature self-image, so he identifies more with children than adults. Oh and he's a genius, too.€ In less clinical terms, he's a crazy person with a Lewis Carrol fixation who kidnaps little girls who bare a resemblance to his blonde-haired protagonist, whisking them away to take part in bizarre €œtea parties€. Creepy, unsettling, and reasonably grounded €“ he fits into the dark, relatively realistic world of Gotham to a tee. Or should that be tea...?
