Hannibal: 6 Reasons It Should Come Back (And 4 Reasons It Shouldn't)

9. Hugh Dancy And Mads Mikkelsen Are On Board

Over the past number of years, very few on-screen duos, on television or otherwise, can claim to have the same impeccable level of chemistry as Hugh Dancy's Will Graham and Mads Mikkelsen's Hannibal Lecter. Every other character on Hannibal was great as well, but these two were in a league all their own.

What's more is that they genuinely loved the production and helped Bryan Fuller fight to keep it on the air all they could. Nobody wanted to keep Hannibal alive more than Fuller, but Dancy and Mikkelsen were not far behind.

Now, two years later, both men still seem as interested as ever in reprising their roles. In a recent interview on the Post Mortem podcast, Fuller stated that he had spoken to Dancy and Mikkelsen, saying that he "had a great idea for season four" and that "I've shared it with the gentlemen and they're both keen on it."

Where there's a will, there's a way, and the show's two major driving forces being prepared to come back for at least one more go around is a fairly great sign.
