Jessica Jones Star Wants Own Hellcat Series

Because, well, Marvel is better than Grey's Anatomy...

Rachael Taylor, star of Netflix hit series Jessica Jones, has expressed a strong desire to continue the role as Hellcat in her own series. Taylor, who plays Trish Walker, Jessica Jones€™ best friend and foster-sister, has said she would €œlove to get her teeth stuck into whatever happens to the character.€ You could say she wouldn€™t exactly paw off the opportunity€ The Marvel series has been successful since it burst onto the scene in 2015, and has recently been renewed for a second season, in which Taylor will become Hellcat. The 31-year-old told Comic Book Resources: €œI try not to get ahead of myself and think about it too much. But of course, I mean, it would be amazing.€ But can fans get excited to see less of Hellcat the ally, and more of Hellcat the superheroine? It€™s not likely to happen, but Netlfix€™s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, has said that: €œAny character that€™s in there is on the table€ it€™s always possible. All the characters in the universe could also spin out.€ The more likely outcome is that Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, will join Daredevil, Luke Cage and the Iron Fist, to create another superhero group called The Defenders. Taylor already has a busy 2016 lined up, with a second series, along with filming Gold, and The Olive Sisters.
