Heroes Reborn: 7 Reasons To Look Forward To The Revival

Love it or hate it, NBC's Heroes is returning to our screens in 2015.

Love it or hate it, NBC's Heroes is returning to our screens in 2015. The network aired a brief teaser on Saturday which featured that iconic solar eclipse set to a metallic drone, in true Heroes style, and revealed that the series is rather predictably subtitled 'Reborn'. The limited series has been billed as a revival rather than a reboot, much like the return of 24. Those of you who watched the first season and wisely stopped after that may be optimistic, but we masochists who slogged through the rest of the series have a lot of questions. Is it picking up after the series finale? Are all the events of the original series in continuity? Is Ali Larter going to play every character, all of whom will be identical octuplets? Put your well-earned cynicism aside for just a moment and read on, because there are more than a few reasons to be cautiously looking forward to the new series. It may seem like a desperate move from a struggling network, because it probably is, but take a deep breath and try to remember that Heroes was good once and it might just pull it off again.
