We all followed Ted Mosby telling his kids how he met their mother.
Played by Cristin Milioti, Tracy (The Mother) only appears in eight episodes throughout the entire nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother. The story of how Ted met Tracy had viewers guessing who the mother of his children was.
In the series finale, we find out that she actually died six years prior to Ted telling the story to his children. This was met with considerable disappointment from fans and even Militii herself cried when she found out the fate of her character.
