How Steven Moffat Has Ruined Doctor Who

7. "Thank You" For Sexualizing Doctor Who

sexism Sure, pretty much all of the revived series has been pretty bad about this, having almost every companion fall in love with the Doctor at some point (male or female). But the problem has become considerably worse under Moffat's reign. Let's examine some of the exchanges, shall we? 11th Doctor: "The Corsair had that tattoo in every regeneration, he didn't feel like himself without it. Or herself, a few times. Oooh, she was a bad girl!" River Song: "I scream loudly. Oops, spoilers." 11th Doctor: "By day she will remain locked up in prison. By nights... well, that's between her and I, isn't it?" So sure, while this isn't shocking, taboo-busting dialogue, is it really necessary for Doctor Who? Does this in any way improve the show for any of us? If so, perhaps you should find something else to watch.
