9. Stripping For Your Daughter
One controversial topic that has always been a feature of It’s Always Sunny is incest. This is especially apparent in the relationship between, by far the show’s two weirdest characters, the McPoyle Brothers.
But another, possibly even weirder, incestuous situation is what Dee does to Mike the Stripper after he claims to have reached ‘rock bottom’ of his life after sleeping with her.
After convincing him that she has become ‘his rock’, she arranges for him, Dennis and Charlie to perform a striptease in front of a college sorority. As Mike dances and begins grinding on a girl in the front row, it’s revealed that it is actually his daughter.
This is a controversial scene for obvious reasons and, in many ways, is the kind of tragically amusing conclusion that has made It’s Always Sunny both extremely dark but also very funny.
