5. Return Of Familiar Faces
One of the most exciting things to come from the teaser trailers for the upcoming season is the look at range of supporting characters that are set to make reappearances in season 13. This includes the McPoyles, who were notably absent from season 12, along with other more familiar characters such as Mac’s Father, Luther McDonald, and Charlie’s Mother, Bonnie Kelly.
Another well-loved character that is set to reappear is Sweet Dee’s long-suffering actress ‘friend’, Artemis Dubois. As one of the show’s best supporting characters her presence, and overly sexual relationship with Frank, was missed during season 12.
With the show mainly focusing on its 5 central characters, the supporting cast is often one of It’s Always Sunny’s most underrated assets and are definitely instrumental to the show’s success.
Their interactions with the show’s main characters, and indeed their own actions, provide some of the series’ funniest moments so it will be exciting to see them all returning for season 13.
