Fox gave us one of the finest Marvel TV series we've ever had last year in the form of Legion, a loose spin-off of the X-Men universe. From the mind of Fargo showrunner Noah Hawley and starring Dan Stevens, it focussed on the mind-bending life of the powerful mutant David Haller whose demons live inside his own head.
As it featured a protagonist who constantly questioned his own sanity and the reality around him, Legion continually threw its viewers for a loop and most of the time was happy to leave us without a clue as to what was going on. Eventually, we did get a certain amount of answers but, on the whole, by the time the first season finale came around, we had still had a whole lot of burning questions.
Thankfully, Legion season 2 is almost here, arriving on April 3rd. And the first thing it needs to do is clear up a few of these questions. Some of them will simply become apparent as the plot develops, while others are more long-term mysteries that might not even get addressed this year. Either way, we need to get some sort of closure to stop them gnawing away at our brains like the Shadow King.
