LIFE ON MARS duo developing angelic legal drama

Ashley Pharoah and Matthew Graham (co-creators of '70s timeslip cop show Life On Mars, and its '80s sequel Ashes To Ashes) are reteaming for Eternal Law, a six-part ITV drama about two angels sent to Earth as lawyers. Pharoah, co-creator:
"This idea has been a passion of ours for some years now and we always thought its natural home was ITV. To make it with our friends and long-term producing partners at Kudos just makes it that much more exciting."
That's all we know so far, so everything else is speculation. Will this be a lighthearted fantasy, akin to Eli Stone? Or will it be more serious, like a version of Highway To Heaven set in the legal world? And while Graham and Pharoah had runaway success with Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes, their other foray into high-concept TV was the critically-derided archaelogical adventure Bonekickers, so their golden touch sometimes turn to tin.
