Logo And First Teaser For New Star Trek Show Beam In

CBS are promising that the new Star Trek show will bring "New Crews. New Villains. New Heroes. New Worlds." Hopefully, we'll still get to see something of the old Star Trek too obviously, but the show is getting off to a good start in marketing terms.
As well as the tagline, the makers have also released the first teaser and logo for next year's premiere, which showrunner Bryan Fuller will be hoping suitably builds some early hype.
At the minute, everything is closely guarded, though there is some suggestion that each season of the show will focus on an entirely new crew and different time periods throughout history. And we know we're going to see the new worlds and new civilizations promised for so long as part of the first ever captain's log.
Let's just hope Fuller knows that the fandom want to see the old faces: Klingons, the Borg, Kardassians, Tribbles... Well, maybe just some of the old faces.
The new show - which won't follow the JJ Abrams movie timeline - will debut in January 2017 on CBS All Access. Presumably details of the international broadcast deal will follow.
